Top 5 Hot Sauce Appetizers

The point of a good appetizer is to be a welcoming introduction to the taste of the main course. But sometimes the best introduction is the one that grabs you by surprise and kicks your taste buds into gear. Whether it’s dipped, stirred, or in a bowl, hot sauce appetizers can be just what you need for the start of an excellent meal.

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is the dip you need for your Sunday night house party. This dip uses cream cheese to balance out the punch of our signature hot sauce. Its ingredients include 2/3 cups of hot sauce, 16 ounces of soft cream cheese, 2 cups of chopped cooked chicken breasts, ½ cups of crumbled blue cheese, and 1 ½ cups of shredded pepper jack cheese. We recommend using our Hot Sauce No. 10 for this pool of awesome. Take the ingredients and mix them all into a glass 2 qt casserole dish (oven proof). Bake it for 25 minutes, and then serve with chips or any raw veggies of your choice.

Crispy Salmon Tartare

Need some fresh finger foods? Your guests will be super surprised by these little treats. For the Spicy Salmon Tartare, dice up 1 small cucumber, chop up 75 grams of Smoked Salmon and 3 green onions. Take the pieces of cucumber, salmon, and onion and mix it in a bowl. Then pour in 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, add a little bit of dill and however much of the Sauce No. 10 you can handle and then mix it all together.  Once that is complete, add 1 ½ cups of tempura rice and serve it. If you are not serving it right away, wait to add the tempura rice until it is right about to be served. Take a few crackers and put a little bit of the mix on each.

Crab Dip

Another fun yet very different dipping sauce is this fun and spicy Crab Dip. For this seafood spectacle, you will need a food processor. Pour the following ingredients into the processor: 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons dried minced onion, 2 tablespoons of white grape juice (or white wine), 1/2 teaspoon of Sauce No. 10, 2 separate 8 ounce packages of cubed cream cheese, and 1 tablespoon minced garlic. Once that is all done, cover up and process the mixture until it is smooth. Once that is done, pour it into a microwavable bowl and add 1 pound of chopped imitation crabmeat. Mix the combination well and then cover it and microwave on high until bubbly. Once that is complete, serve it with crackers or any vegetable.

Breaded chicken slices

These slices will be sure to keep your guests entertained. Crack two eggs into a bowl and mix them with a quarter cup of No. 10 hot sauce. Once that’s done, take a separate bowl and fill it with bread crumbs, salt, pepper, chopped up fresh parsley, Italian seasoning, and a ½ cup of Parmesan cheese. Once that’s done, take the thinly sliced chicken breast and dredge it in the egg mixture. Then dredge it in the breadcrumbs. Then put a little olive oil on a pan, heat it high and brown the breast on both sides. Squeeze some lemon on it and then slice them up into appetizer portions and boom! The spicy chicken is ready to get cracking!

Blue Cheese Wing Sauce

If you haven’t tried an original dip for your wings you are missing out on a whole realm of possibilities. Try the special Blue-cheese wing sauce. Start with half a stick of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of Hot Sauce No. 10, 1 tablespoon of honey, and then melt them all together.
